From WSOC TV:Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officer Jason Van Aken was arrested Friday by CMPD detectives and charged with misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury and simple assault. The charges stem from a criminal investigation which the CMPD launched to determine whether Van Aken used excessive force on the victim, Terance G.
