Crackheads Among Us

The Charlotte Observer is reporting that James Edward Robinette Jr., 49 and Eva Marie Rankin Robinette, 35 were arrested and now face drug charges after officers discovered a methamphetamine lab at their Monroe, North Carolina home.

Robinette is a registered sex offender who is on probation after being convicted earlier this year of more than a dozen counts of taking indecent liberties with a child, records show.

Both were being held in Union County jail, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of precursor chemical, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
